Legal Transactions

Title: Analyst, Transaction team

Objectives of Role: 

Liaising with the Legal & Compliance team, Finance departments and external Service Providers/Asset Managers.  The Transaction team is the entry point for new projects and a crucial element in the processing chain.

It provides transactional support to investments of the client Real Estate Funds.  

Reporting to: Team Manager/Lead Analyst – Legal & Compliance

The roles and responsibilities (including but are not limited to):

Support Disposal & acquisition team with the following administrative aspects:
•    Take care of bank account openings, closings, mandate and signatory changes. 
•    Collect and upload bank statements for reporting purposes
•    Documents upload to the SharePoint
•    Prepare the proxies ahead of the board meetings
•    Follow up on the drafting and review of the board minutes
•    Co-ordinate signatures on proxies/board minutes documents
•    Update the board minutes tracker
•    Assist in the preparation and save documents on the company’s platform
•    Assisting in the preparation of data rooms
•    Collecting necessary e-signatures on documents 
•    Perform administrative tasks such as scanning, filing and archiving of all relevant documents
•    Assist with the weekly/bi-weekly reporting’s.
•    Handling incoming and outgoing mailings
•    Ad-hoc requests

Education and Experience:
•    BAC or equivalent 
•    First experience in a related financial/legal environment
•    Good Knowledge of MS Office standard applications
•    Fluent in English, any other language will be favourable (e.g. Spanish, German)
•    Prior work experience in a similar position would be a great advantage.

•    Has a professional manner and a high energy level; exhibits a positive attitude towards the daily tasks and pays great attention to details
•    Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritise situations and challenges appropriately.
•    Ability to work independently.
•    Excellent organizational and communication skills
•    Ability to determine the importance and urgency and make clear decisions which are timely and in the best interests of the team.
•    Manages stress well and uses it as a positive motivator.
