Job Description

Join Wipro Technologies-USA as a Business Development Executive, a pivotal role integral to our growth strategy within the Business Process Services (BPS) sector. With a profound focus on new business development and building key relationships, you will draw upon your extensive experience in selling BPO/BPS solutions to engage prospective clients effectively. In this dynamic position, you will utilize your expertise to drive the sales process from initial pursuit to final close, ensuring alignment with Wipro’s strategic growth objectives. Your role is vital in enhancing our client portfolio through the acquisition of new logos and maximizing existing relationships while fostering a collaborative working environment.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

As a Business Development Executive, your responsibilities will encompass:

  • Designing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy that not only generates sustainable revenue but also meets or exceeds assigned targets.
  • Proactively seeking new business opportunities while managing the end-to-end sales lifecycle from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Leveraging your knowledge of our diverse service offerings, which may include customer contact solutions, automation, and shared services, to develop tailored business plans.
  • Engaging with potential clients through various channels, responding to inbound leads, and crafting compelling proposals that showcase Wipro’s value propositions.
  • Fostering strong customer relationships to ensure satisfaction while safeguarding Wipro's interests and objectives through transparent communication.
  • Participating as a key member of the Global Business Line BPS team, contributing your insights to shape the broader strategic direction of the company.

Qualifications and Experience of an Ideal Candidate

The successful candidate will demonstrate expertise and success in:

  • Engaging at the C-level, effectively showcasing your understanding of our clients’ business dynamics and the unique challenges they face.
  • Managing complex client relationships with multiple stakeholders to foster long-term partnerships.
  • Leading sophisticated proposal development and strategy sessions that highlight business value and anticipated outcomes.
  • Negotiating and finalizing long-term, strategic contracts that benefit both the client and Wipro.

Experience / Competencies / Qualifications

  • A solid foundation with over 15 years of experience in sales within the BPS domain, with a proven history of exceeding sales targets.
  • Established professional connections with decision-makers across various industries.
  • Strong aptitude for articulating and presenting business solutions, crafting proposals, and responding effectively to Request for Proposals (RFPs).
  • A confident communicator, skilled in analyzing data to present strategic insights and solutions to senior leadership.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with the ability to motivate cross-functional teams toward achieving common goals.
  • Advanced business acumen, enabling you to identify, develop, and capitalize on strategic opportunities.
  • The ability to travel up to 35% of the time to engage directly with clients and prospects.
  • A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent education.

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $150,000.00  to $210,000.00. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options
