The purpose of this role is to design, test and maintain software programs for operating systems or applications which needs to be deployed at a client end and ensure its meet 100% quality assurance parameters

Technical Expertise:

  1. Front-End Integration:

    • Touch UI, Sightly
    • Components, Content & Experience Fragments
    • Editable Templates, Client Libraries

  2. AEM Back-End Stack:

    • OSGi, JCR, Sling, WCM APIs, Sling Models
    • Workflow, Launchers, Event Handlers, Listeners, Schedulers, Sling Jobs
    • API Integration, Multi-Site Manager Setup
    • Query Builder, Search & Indexing, Session Handling
    • Unit Testing with JUnit

  3. Security:

    • Access Control Lists (ACL)
    • Single Sign-On (SSO)
    • Security Layer Implementation

  4. Performance Tuning:

    • Page Performance Optimization
    • Dispatcher Caching
    • Query Optimization & Debugging

  5. Infrastructure Setup:

    • Cron Jobs, Dispatcher, Apache Configuration

  6. Persistence Setup:

    • TarMK, MongoMK, S3 Integration

  7. Build & Deployment:

    • Maven/Ant, Jenkins, CI/CD Pipelines
    • Production Deployment Strategies

  8. Java Language Proficiency:

    • Exception Handling, Collections Framework
    • Design Patterns, Multi-threading

  9. AEM Upgrade Experience:

    • Service Pack & Hotfix Installation
    • Version Upgrade Planning & Execution
    • Pre/Post Upgrade Analysis & Migration

  10. Use Cases & Best Practices:

  • Migration from Non-CMS Platforms
  • Headless CMS Implementation
  • Integration with External Technologies
  • Adherence to Coding Best Practices
