Job Description

Help re-shape the economics of U.S. healthcare payers while building the next $1B+ growth engine for Wipro
Wipro Consulting is doubling down on U.S. healthcare payers just as cost pressures, regulatory upheaval and AI-first operating models collide. We are seeking a senior‐level Partner who blends top-team strategy with the entrepreneurial grit of a start-up founder. Reporting to the Americas Managing Partner for Healthcare, you will own C-suite relationships at marquee accounts, originating board-room advisory work that converts into large-scale technology and BPO programs.

Ambition – Expected impact & outcomes:

Your remit spans the full value cycle – crystalize whitespace opportunities, design next-generation payer business models, and orchestrate multi-tower transformations that move both medical-loss ratios and patient outcomes. Supported by ~250,000 technologists and proprietary AI accelerators, you will launch signature IP (e.g., benchmarks, data assets, platform ventures) that elevate Wipro’s market voice. Success will be measured by three vectors:
1.Impact (Patient outcome lifts, improved quality of care, EBITDA gains for clients)
2.Growth ($10M+ new consulting revenue per year, $50M+ in pull-through growth)
3.Institutional lift (Analyst rankings, talent development, thought leadership)

Action – Key responsibilities:

1.Originate growth: Identify whitespace, craft C-suite narratives, and close USD 10M+ in advisory bookings annually, anchoring USD 100 million+ technology/BPO follow-ons
2.Advise C-suites: Serve as board-trusted voice on AI, value-based care, and cost transformation. Convene executive workshops that convert vision into funded initiatives
3.Steer transformations: Govern multi-tower programs (claims core, provider data, interoperability, GenAI UM) ensuring benefits realization, risk control and CSAT > 4.8/5
4.Create IP and ventures: Incubate differentiating IP (e.g., benchmarks, indices, data products), spin out solution ventures and NextGen fields-of-play / fields-of-innovation with independent growth targets
5.Amplify thought-leadership: Publish 3 - 4 provocative POVs per year, keynote major conferences, and secure analyst citations that elevate Wipro’s brand
6.Attract and develop talent: Recruit, mentor, and sponsor a diverse cadre of principals/directors; embed a psychologically safe, high-performance culture
7.Forge ecosystem alliances: Build and scale strategic partnerships with health-tech disruptors, academic centers, and regulatory bodies to co-create market offerings
8.Own the P&L: Own full consulting P&L for assigned accounts, drive forecast accuracy, manage margins, and reinvest in growth accelerators
9.Govern consulting business: Shape investment roadmaps, prioritize solution backlog, and propagate agile ways-of-working across a global delivery footprint

Ideal candidate – Our next partner would have:

1.Strategy pedigree: 15+ years in top-tier strategy or Big-4 advisory, including 7+ years payer-exclusive leadership
2.Client obsession: Cultivates authentic, trust-based CXO relationships and sustains a deep personal network across national health plans, regional Blues, payer-provider hybrids, and / or PBMs
3.Commercial track-record: Personally sold & led USD 100+ million cumulative advisory revenue, fluent negotiating at the executive level
4.Domain mastery: Deep command of payer value chain (e.g., claims, network, care management, pharmacy, risk adjustment) and regulatory drivers
5.Transformation gravitas: Proven oversight of multi-tower programs affecting 10+ million lives and USD 1 billion spend.
7.Tech fluency: Conversant in COTS products, AI / GenAI, cybersecurity, product / platform model fundamentals that underpin modern payer platforms that drive business impact

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $190,000.00  to $265,000.00. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options
