Mainframe Developer

Location: Irving, Texas

Hands on engineering role supporting complex mainframe servicing applications.
• Expertise in Mainframe technologies including TSO, COBOL, JCL, DB2, SQL, CICS, VSAM
• Deep Understanding of service design for the mainframe environement including exposure of services outside.
• Thorough understanding of mainframe systems architecture and exposure to multiple technical disciplines including:
               o API
               o Angular js
               o Cloud Technology
• Possesses a high degree of technical competency to design and develop mainframe servicing applications using current tools and technologies
• Collaborative working with the client's technology and business staff day-to-day
• Proactive and willing to go above and beyond to satisfy the client and deliver on  project goals
Strong ability to learn new technical skills and abilities.  Flexible to address work an dissues outside immediate scope.
• Codes, tests, debugs, implements, and documents complex global applications
• Skilled in building mainframe servicign systems, CI/CD and Test Driven Development (TDD),
• Deep understanding of designing for scale
• Memory management in programming language
• Knowledge of Common Frameworks
• Database principles and Data Architecture/Model
• Knowledge of Basic Algorithms and approaches in optimization of algorithm

Mandatory Skills: Mainframe .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $60,000 to $1,35,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
