Project Management -TELECOM

The Project Manager / Technical Project Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and finalizing migration projects within the telecommunications sector. This role requires a candidate with a strong background in telecom, preferably with experience in cable services and familiarity with Amdocs systems. The successful candidate will manage project teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure that project goals are met within scope, time, and budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end migration projects in the telecom industry, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and IT, to ensure seamless execution of migration activities.
  • Utilize project management methodologies to track project progress and performance, identifying and mitigating risks as necessary.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, challenges, and solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices during the migration process.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration among project team members and stakeholders.
  • Conduct post-migration evaluations to assess project success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Leverage experience with Amdocs systems to optimize migration processes and outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager or Technical Project Manager in the telecom industry, with a focus on migration projects.
  • Strong understanding of cable/telecom operations and technologies.
  • Experience working with Amdocs systems is highly desirable.
  • Excellent project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases is a plus.
  • PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
