Job Description
Job Role : Lead Administrator (Network Data)
Key responsibilities
- Provide network design services which meet and exceed the needs of customer
- Propose and Validate BoM for Network Infrastructure solutions.
- Preparing Scope of Work and Project Plans for the Solution.
- Preparing High Level & Low Level designs as per proposed Solution.
- Design and Implementation of Routing and Switching technologies.
- Design and implementation of Data Centers on SDN technologies e.g. Cisco ACI, VMware NSX.
- Campus LAN and Wireless design, Implementation and Troubleshooting.
- Design and implementation of software defined campus network e.g. Cisco DNA, SD-Access
- Hands on experience on WAN optimization technologies.
- Troubleshooting and repairing network issues, as well as developing, applying and enforcing best practices and policies
- Monitoring and performing routine tests on an assigned system and reporting results.
- Identifying opportunities for continuous improvements
- Contributing and producing regular status reports as required
- Working with 3rd party hardware and Telco suppliers to ensure delivery expectations are met and issues escalated accordingly
- Escalating overall none delivery issues in timely and structured manner as required
- Providing day to day hands on technical support across multiple services
- Working as part of a project in a demanding environment where team work is key to delivering and meeting client commitments
- Complete varied complex/non-standard tasks and may coordinate/oversee work of others
- Understand customer requirements, translating them into refined and detailed specification documents
- Provide resolution to project or customer issues, following proper escalation procedures, in a timely fashion.

- Should be CCNP/CCDP certified.

- Routing: Cisco 4000 / 4500 / 6500 / 7200 routers, Protocols include RIP, OSPF, ISIS, BGP, MBGP, EIGRP, MPLS, VRF, L3 VPN’s, IPSec, VPNs, ACL’s, NAT, CoS
- LAN/Switching: Cisco Catalyst 3500 / 3550 / 3700 / 3900 / 4000 / 6500 series switches, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.1q, ISL, Ether Channel, Multicast, SNMP, VSS, VTP, STP, RSTP, HSRP/VRRP, vDC, vPC, VRF, FCoE, DHCP, Traffic Shaping, Voice over IP, Video / Voice QoS (CBWFQ, LLQ)
- Wireless: 802.1x, WPA/WPA2 and WEP with TKIP / AES
- Load Balancing - Netscalers, F5 and Cisco
- NMS / Analysis: Cisco works 5.0 / 2000, What’s up Gold, Sniffer Pro 4.5 / 4.6, Sniffer Reporte
Professional skills
- Proven success in contributing to a team-oriented environment

- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge and experience of ITIL based service processes: Incident Management, Change Management, Release Management, Problem Management, etc
Experience: 8-10 Years .
Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
