Job Description

Role : Project Lead (Infrastructure Project Manager)

Responsibilities :

  • Manages the delivery of large integrated solutions involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Manage Discovery, Assessment and Migration of workloads.
  • Do discussions with application teams to identify inter dependencies between various applications, identify pre-requisites and formulate move groups for migration.
  • Create run books having hour by hour plan for various move groups.
  • Formulate migration calendar, agree migration window with client stakeholders, get changes approved and manage the migrations.
  • Coordination with cross infrastructure work streams and business.
  • Determine overall project plan, budget, structure, schedule, and staffing requirements.
  • Manage the agreed scope of project & ensure project meet the quality requirements.
  • Coordinate with third party vendors and multi stream engineers for deliveries, installs, workload migrations.
  • Interact with CXOs and senior stakeholders in client side for status reporting

Requirements :

  • Ability to develop and monitor project schedules and timelines to identify and meet critical milestones.
  • Prior experience as migration lead in DC and Hybrid Cloud Migrations project.
  • Experience for defining move groups and leading workload migrations.
  • Should have worked in multi-vendor environment and worked with third party vendors for project fulfilment requirements.
  • Ability to deliver the project on the budgeted cost and track the budget.
  • Ability to build project schedule in MS Project
  • Proficient in Project management tools, reporting.
  • Good and effective written and oral communication

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $60,000 to $1,35,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
