Job description Partner for Market Development for Americas 

Location: East Coast/ New York 

Reporting: Market Development Head – Americas  

 

Responsibilities 

  • Build and sustain strong relationships with a dedicated portfolio of Third-Party Advisors and market influencers across the USA with a specific focus on Large Deal Targeting, shaping and supporting the closing.  
  • Generate leads/opportunities (& track to closure) through advisor interactions, engagements and relationships 
  • Enable joint-GTM/GTC engagements between external consulting organizations & internal SMU, verticals and Service Lines.   
  • Design, coordinate and execute briefings and related business development activities 
  • Own & ensure Wipro delivers accurate and compelling response to market requests via this channel. Work with multiple internal stakeholders at all levels. 
  • Manage and track advisor leads as they and ensure opportunities generated are appropriately entered in TraCE  

 

Candidate Requirements 

  • Excellent communicator: Ideally a US national based in the US 
  • Excellent internal network across the region an advantage 
  • Frequent / constant travel across the USA 
  • Quint-essential sales process mindset.  
  • Consultative and outcome/results focus.  
  • Proactive and hands-on ‘Doer’ with high energy and drive 
  • Service orientated 
  • Team Player  
  • Strong self-drive to follow-through action items for closure, with as many iterations as required.   
  • Analytical & Detail-oriented – ability to spot interest areas of stakeholders during conversations and map with Wipro offerings  
  • MS Office proficiency for creating high quality presentation decks, Excel spreadsheets  
  •  

MBA or an equivalent postgraduate  

15+ years of industry experience and connected to the US market desired but not mandatory  

GBL or Sales/ sales operations experience, or documented strong interest in a sales / sales operations/ sales management career

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $200,000  to $280,000. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options
