Role : Dynatrace Tools Consultant
Role Description
The ideal candidate will be responsible for the administration, support, and optimization of the Dynatrace monitoring platform, ensuring high availability and performance of our application and infrastructure monitoring solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day administration and support for the Dynatrace platform, including OneAgent and ActiveGate deployment, configuration, and upgrades.
- Monitor the health and performance of the Dynatrace environment and proactively resolve issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to Dynatrace monitoring, integrations, and data collection.
- Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to onboard new services and optimize monitoring coverage.
- Configure custom dashboards, alerts, synthetic monitors, and management zones as per business requirements.
- Maintain documentation for Dynatrace configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
- Stay current with Dynatrace product updates, best practices, and new features.
- Participate in weekly on-call rotation and provide support as needed.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting Dynatrace or similar APM platforms (AppDynamics, New Relic, etc.).
- Strong understanding of Dynatrace architecture, including OneAgent, ActiveGate, and Cluster components.
- Experience with deploying and managing monitoring agents on Linux and Windows servers.
- Proficient in troubleshooting application and infrastructure performance issues using Dynatrace.
- Experience with integrating Dynatrace with ITSM, alerting.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
Preferred Skills
- Dynatrace Associate or Professional certification.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerized environments (Kubernetes, Docker).
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, Python) are a plus.
- Experience with synthetic monitoring, log monitoring, and custom metric ingestion in Dynatrace.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and incident management best practices.
Experience: 5-8 Years .
Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $60,000 to $1,35,000 .
