Job Description: ServiceNow Technical Architect

Role Overview

 

We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated ServiceNow Technical Architect to lead the architecture, design, and delivery of complex ServiceNow solutions. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, guiding implementation teams, and ensuring platform governance, scalability, and performance. Key Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture of ServiceNow solutions across modules like ITSM, ITOM, HRSD, CSM, or custom apps.

• Lead technical design workshops with business and technical stakeholders.

• Define architecture standards, development best practices, and governance models. • Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project managers to translate requirements into scalable solutions.

• Oversee and review implementation deliverables to ensure quality and performance. • Architect and manage integrations with external systems (REST, SOAP, MID Server, etc.).

• Ensure platform scalability, maintainability, performance, and security.

• Maintain health and accuracy of the CMDB and data models.

• Lead platform upgrade and release planning activities.

• Mentor and guide development teams and junior architects.

 

Long Description

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

• 15+ years in IT with 12+ years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow with at-least 5+ years worked as Architect and remaining experiences can be Consultant / Lead / Developer.

• Expertise in: - ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM (Discovery, CMDB, Event Mgmt), HRSD, or CSM - GlideScript, Scripted APIs, Flow Designer, Service Portal, IntegrationHub - CMDB design and governance

• Strong understanding of ITIL framework and processes.

• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

 

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Certifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Required

• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS – ITSM/ITOM/HRSD/CSM)

• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

• ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (CTA) – Highly Preferred

• ITIL v3 or v4 Foundation/Intermediate

 

Nice to Have

• Experience with DevOps tools (Jenkins, GitHub, ATF, CI/CD pipelines).

• Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure).

• Experience in multi-tenant/global ServiceNow environments. Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.

• Leadership presence with excellent verbal and written communication

Mandatory Skills: ServiceNow - IT Service Management .

 

Experience: 8-10 Years .

 

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $80,000 to $1,58,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
