Job Description

Mandatory Skill: IBM AIX, Strong in AIX system internals, Logical Volume Manager (LVM), filesystem management, and networking

Loc: Pune

We are seeking an experienced AIX L3 Administrator to manage and support our enterprise AIX infrastructure. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Level 3 support for IBM AIX operating systems, including troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues.
  • Manage virtualization using PowerVM, LPAR, VIO servers, and ensure optimal resource allocation.
  • Automate system administration tasks using Shell scripting, Ansible, or other automation tools.
  • Strong expertise in AIX system internals, Logical Volume Manager (LVM), filesystem management, and networking.
  • Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (PowerVM, LPAR management, VIO servers).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Shell, Python, or Ansible for automation.
  • Advanced knowledge of storage configurations (SAN, NFS, GPFS) and backup solutions.
  • Experience with cloud computing, hybrid infrastructure, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong understanding of security compliance and audit requirements.
