Role Purpose


The purpose of this role is to provide significant technical expertise in architecture planning and design of the concerned tower (platform, database, middleware, backup etc) as well as managing its day-to-day operations

Do

    • Identify and resolve network access issues, working to ensure minimal disruptions and maintaining high availability.
    • Manage user and device identity databases within Cisco ISE, ensuring accurate user authentication and authorization.
    • Ensure that network access control policies align with industry standards and compliance requirements, such as PCI DSS, HIPAA, or GDPR.
    • Create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to network access control policies, configurations, and procedures.
    • Stay updated on the latest security threats and vulnerabilities, implementing necessary adjustments to the ISE policies and configurations.
    • Provide training and support to network administrators and end-users regarding network access control and Cisco ISE usage.
    • Detailed knowledge in layer 2 & Layer 3 networking Technologies.
    • Install and support Cisco/Meraki Wireless Lan Controller, LWAP deployment, Wireless survey, Wireless Optimization.
    • Understand client requirements to be able to cater to their appropriate needs.

      Job Title: Cisco Wireless & ISE Engineer

      Job Description: Cisco Wireless & ISE Engineer will be responsible for managing and securing wireless network and the access management through Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) solutions. Work closely with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot, design, implement, and maintain the wireless network & network access control policies, ensuring the highest level of security and compliance within the organization.

      Key Responsibilities: -

      • Strong Knowledge and hands-on experience in Managing and Troubleshooting Cisco Switching, Cisco Wireless, Meraki Switching & Meraki Wireless Environment.
      • Install, configure, and maintain Cisco ISE solutions to control and manage network access.
      • Design and implement network access control policies, including authentication, authorization, and accounting (AAA) policies.
      • Collaborate with other security technologies and systems, such as firewalls, VPNs, and multi-factor authentication, to create a cohesive security infrastructure.
    • Use tools to evaluate to test and tweak wireless products, such as routers, switches etc
    • Design, validate and maintain the performance, quality, and reliability of the RF link.
    • Design, implement and maintain WLANs and other wireless networks.
    • Detailed understanding of wireless protocols and network security standards (WLAN's, LWAPP, 802.11, 802.1x, EAP types )

    • Ensure that organizational programs like Performance Nxt are well understood and that the team is taking the opportunities presented by such programs to their and their levels below

    • Lead and drive engagement initiatives for the team
    • Track team satisfaction scores and identify initiatives to build engagement within the team
    • Proactively challenge the team with larger and enriching projects/ initiatives for the organization or team 
    • Exercise employee recognition and appreciation
