Job Description

 

Role Purpose


The purpose of this role is to provide significant technical expertise in architecture planning and design of the concerned tower (platform, database, middleware, backup etc) as well as managing its day-to-day operations

  •  6-10 Years of Azure cloud Admin-  IaaS and PaaS services. Specifically, we're looking for someone proficient in Virtual Machines, Virtual Network, Recovery Vault, VPN Gateway, Storage, and Load Balancer under IaaS services PaaS services, the ideal candidate should have experience with App Services, Application Gateway, Redis cache, PaaS DB, Log Analytics, Azure functions, Azure Logic apps, AKS, Event hub, and Azure Service BusA solid understanding of DevOps and related practices is essential for this role

  • Should have knowledge in Azure IaaS deployment and network configurations.
  • Expertise in Azure PaaS like Webapp, DB, Logic app deployment and configuration.
  • Expertise in Integrate Key Vault with others PaaS.
  • Hands on experience in Code deployment using DevOps tools.
  • Experience in automation accounts - runbooks and DSC configuration.
  • Experience in troubleshoot connectivity and performance issues related to Azure.
  • Expertise in configure monitoring and alert management in PaaS using app insights and azure monitor and log analytics.
  • Expertise in Configure DB backups and failover groups and access management.
  • Expertise in Azure functions, Web jobs, logic app configuration and administration.
  • Ability to manage application security using Azure AD.
  • Ability to choose the right services plans and tiers for Optimum Cost, Performance, and Security and DR options.
  •  Expertise in Azure AD for App management like app registration, Configuring MFA, service principle. identities creation etc...
  • Expertise in authentication and authorization for Azure PaaS using firewall, RBAC, NSG, certificate etc.
  • Ability to deploy and configure messaging services like Event hub, Azure service Bus, Event grid etc.
  • Ability to perform log management using azure storage like Blob file share etc.
  • Ability deploy and configure Azure application gateway, load balancer, DNS, traffic manager.
  • Should have knowledge in SDLC lifecycle practices. (Agile, waterfall)
  • Should have knowledge in API management and its connecters.
  • Should have knowledge to integrate webapps and logic apps with Data platforms like Data factory, Data bricks data lake.
  • good to have integrate with Azure ML and Azure AI and IOT platform.
  • Good to have microservices implementation using AKS, Azure fabric.
  • Should have Knowledge in programming languages such as PowerShell, ASP.NET, Python, Shell scripting, Terraform, JSON, XML, or similar scripting language.
  • Good to have Bigdata cluster deployment and configuration like Spark, HD insights, Data Lake.
  • SQL PAAS: Experience working on MSSQL Single DB, Managed Instances, Backup, Refresh, User management, Monitoring & Performance tuning & HA-DR techniques
  • Migration: Experience working on homogenous/ heterogenous migrations from On-Prem to Cloud and/ or between two cloud vendors
  • Exposure in creating/ deploying cluster setup – between Cloud and/ or cloud and DC
  • Experience creating Always-On setup with cloud and/ or between cloud and DC
  • Experience/ exposure in handling other DB flavors like MySQL/ Oracle on cloud

    • Ensure that organizational programs like Performance Nxt are well understood and that the team is taking the opportunities presented by such programs to their and their levels below

    • Lead and drive engagement initiatives for the team
    • Track team satisfaction scores and identify initiatives to build engagement within the team
    • Proactively challenge the team with larger and enriching projects/ initiatives for the organization or team 
    • Exercise employee recognition and appreciation
