L͏inux Devops Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Managing Linux administration and troubleshooting
  • Managing cloud infrastructure including monitoring cloud based applications
  • Basic configuration and support of cloud services
  • Managing Kubernetes clusters, ensuring the smooth operation of containerized applications.
  • Managing CI/CD Pipelines, monitoring  and log management
  • Optimizing the performance of Kubernetes environment.
  • Installing, configuring, maintaining Linux operating systems.
  • Shell scripting
  • Managing and maintaining virtualized environments using hypervisors like VMware, KVM etc.
  • Troubleshooting within SLA
  • Coordination and Communication
  • Compliance and Security

- Skills

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in DevOps practices and tools.
  • Containerization & Orchestration:
    • Expertise in Kubernetes (using Kubeadm)
    • Proficient in Docker and container lifecycle management
  • CI/CD & Automation:
    • Experience with Jenkins and Ansible for automation and configuration management
    • Building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
  • Operating Systems & Scripting:
    • Solid knowledge of Linux administration (preferably Ubuntu)
    • Proficient in Shell scripting
  • Monitoring & Logging:
    • Experience with monitoring tools like Zabbix and Grafana
    • Familiarity with log management solutions such as Elasticsearch and Graylog
  • Virtualization & Cloud Infrastructure:
    • Familiarity with hypervisors such as Proxmox and VMware
  • Security Tools:
    • Experience with ClamAV for antivirus scanning
    • Experience with Wazuh for security monitoring and threat detection
