Job Description

Ansible ,Python ,Unix ,Playbook &API

Create and maintain code in-line with Software Engineering best practice.
• Support testing and build automation use cases related to the Control-M platform.
• Development and deployment of code via CI/CD pipelines.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Linux administration
• Python coding in support of test automation
• Experience in creating ansible pipelines for linux and application configuration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Creation and maintenance of automation via Jenkins with code repositories (GIT)
• Excellent verbal and written English skills
OPTIONAL/NICE TO HAVE
• Experience of supporting Control-M as either a developer or administrator on Unix/Linux
• Knowledge of Agile ways of working e.g. Scrum, Kanban
• Experience of integrating, or utilizing, DevOps tools in conjunction with Control-M e.g. Git, Jenkins, etc.
• Familiarity with JSON, XML, YAML or similar code
• Experience of NGINX

1.   Provide tool design, development and deployment support for the project delivery
a.   Interact with the internal project or client to understand the project requirement from a tool perspective
b.   Design the solution keeping in mind the tool requirements, current tools available as well as details on licenses required etc.
c.   Provide budget and timeline estimates for the tool development/ deployment as required
d.   For any new tool development, identify sources for development (internal or 3rd party) and work with the project managers on the development of the tool keeping in mind the production rollout timelines
e.   Conduct commercial discussions with the 3rd party vendors for licenses or tool development
f.   Conduct appropriate testing to ensure error free deployment of the tool on the project
g.   Ensure deployment of tool on time and within the estimated budget
