The Content Marketing Manager will be a vital part of the Designit team, driving innovative marketing strategies for the Microsoft Cloud Marketing Blog and Social. This team operates over 100 social media channels and manages 20+ marketing blogs, each tailored for various audiences, including business decision makers, developers, IT decision makers, and IT implementers. With a robust monthly output of over 50 blog posts, this role aims to educate, inform, and engage a global audience through insightful and impactful content that showcases Microsoft's cutting-edge products such as Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, and Copilot Studio. Calling upon a combination of strategic thinking and creative storytelling, the Content Marketing Manager will execute comprehensive content strategies that resonate with diverse stakeholders.

- Content Strategy: Develop and implement data-driven content strategies that align with overarching business objectives and resonate with target audiences. Capture essential metrics and KPIs to efficiently funnel potential customers through the marketing pipeline.
- Content Governance and Optimization: Maintain the integrity of blog content by ensuring alignment with brand voice and accessibility standards. Optimize both new and existing content for search engine visibility, user experience, and overall engagement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with diverse teams including product marketing, integrated marketing, and brand to create compelling blog content. Share insights and best practices to unify efforts across various departments.
- Editorial Calendar Management: Take ownership of the blogging calendar to ensure timely publication of content that aligns with strategic initiatives. Facilitate regular planning sessions to maintain synchronization with product marketing teams.
- Performance Analysis: Utilize analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics and Power BI to monitor blog performance. Develop actionable insights and recommendations to enhance traffic and audience engagement based on comprehensive analysis.
- Stakeholder Education: Foster relationships within the organization by educating stakeholders on content strategy, workflows, and measurement frameworks. Advocate for effective blogging practices and maintain open channels of communication.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee the workflow with coordinators to optimize customer interactions through well-structured content management processes. Ensure that deadlines and quality standards are consistently met to maintain operational efficiency.
- Implementation of New Features: Collaborate with technical teams to improve blogs and CMS functionality, focusing on layout, SEO practices, and overall user experience to enhance content discovery.
