Job Description
Role Purpose
We're looking for a Lead Social Media Manager to help shape and drive high-impact digital content strategies for Microsoft’s cloud business. As part of the Blog and Social workstream, you’ll play a critical role in aligning stakeholders across creative, analytics, blog, events, community, announcements, and YouTube- assuring our approach to social is strategic, integrated, and measurable.

- Serve as primary strategist and contact for assigned CSAs.
- Develop and deliver organic and paid social strategies based on audience insights and campaign goals.
- Collaborate across teams (blog, creative, analytics, events, community) to ensure alignment.
- Provide thought leadership on social trends, advising on platform investments and scaling.
- Drive process improvements and playbooks for demand generation.
- Oversee social programming, content calendars, and approve creative/copy.
- Lead cross-functional workstreams and translate analytics into actionable insights.
- Manage agencies/vendors and mentor 1-2 direct reports, fostering team health and growth.
- Support team health, workload balancing, and development of junior talent.
- Foster a collaborative, feedback-driven team culture that values continuous learning and innovation.

What you bring:
- 5 – 7 years of marketing experience
- 2+ years of experience managing social media programs and strategy
- 2 + years of experience growing and managing a team with a focus on professional development and growth for direct reports
- Subject matter expertise in the use of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, etc.) with a strong understanding of the digital marketing landscape
- Ability to work successfully with diverse groups of stakeholders across companies to ensure successful planning, execution, and reporting
- A high degree of skill at interpreting data to inform strategy and provide actionable insights
Experience: 5-8 Years .
Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
