Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Transformation Consultant with a proven track record in designing and implementing new ways of working, ideally for a utilities company. The ideal candidate will possess an understanding of the utilities industry, along with a strong background in agile, lean, business process reengineering, change management, and organizational transformation.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Conduct comprehensive analysis of the current business processes, systems, and organizational structure within the utilities company.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for business transformation.
- Design and implement new operational models, processes, and technologies to optimize efficiency and effectiveness within the organization.
- Lead change management initiatives to ensure successful adoption of new ways of working across the company.
- Provide expert guidance and support to project teams and business units throughout the transformation process.
- Develop and deliver training programs to equip employees with the necessary skills and knowledge to adapt to the new operating model.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of the transformation initiatives and adjust as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior management, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to drive ongoing transformation and competitive advantage for the company.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the organization
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Project management certification and experience with agile methodologies is a must.
- Proven experience in business/WOW transformations, process reengineering, and change management within the utilities industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex business requirements into practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a track record of driving successful business transformation and WOW initiatives.

How you will provide meaningful contributions:
- By Implementing ways of working recommendations and focusing on key dimensions to define the optimum way of working.
- Rolling out a WOW Playbook: Define, Document and Launch
- Change management, planning and communications plan
- Has a good understanding of Value streams or Product Orientated Delivery (PoD) operating models
- Multi-Disciplinary on ways of working practices (Lean/CI, Agile, Design Thinking, Product Management, Tooling etc)
- Can implement lean portfolio management systems
- Briefing all levels of stakeholders of the change and impacts (socialisation)
- Have a great understanding of:
- Cadence and Operating Rhythms
- Work Visualisation (JIRA - Workflow)
- Core Reporting (JIRA Dashboard Reports – Velocity, Release burn-down, cycle time etc)
- Roles
- Planning (Governance, Delivery & RAID)
- Quarterly Business Review (Performance)
- Objectives, Key Measures & Results (OKRs)
- Can coach Leadership/Business and Teams and build communities of practices to support continuous learning
- Can show value realisation through a metrics approach
