J͏ob Description

Key Responsibilities

- Administer and optimize AWS environments with a focus on scalability, security, and network performance  

- Collaborate with solution architects and network engineers to redesign and re-architect hybrid cloud networks  

- Implement VPCs, Transit Gateways, Route Tables, NATs, Direct Connect, VPNs, and other core AWS networking components  

- Maintain IAM roles, security groups, policies, and compliance baselines  

- Automate cloud operations and deployments using Infrastructure-as-Code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform  

- Monitor network traffic, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and resolve issues related to latency, DNS, and routing  

- Maintain documentation of the new network architecture, configurations, and operational playbooks  

- Participate in project planning, reviews, change management, and incident response  

Required Skills

- Proven 3+ years of hands-on experience in AWS cloud infrastructure management  

- Solid expertise in AWS networking – VPC, PrivateLink, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, etc.  

- Proficient with Linux systems, security configurations, and automation tooling  

- Familiarity with networking concepts: Subnetting, TCP/IP, DNS, BGP, VPN  

- Scripting experience (Python, Bash) a plus  

- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator / Solutions Architect – Associate or higher preferred  

- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills  

Nice-to-Haves

- Experience with hybrid architectures integrating on-prem and AWS environments  

- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines  

- Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Datadog, or New Relic

 

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).

- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate) are a plus.
