Job Description

Scope of Project :

Green field Teamcenter PLM & QMS implementation for a medical devices manufacturing customer. Partnering with customer on successful accomplishment of next-generation seamless, digital and automated business processes and data management practices across product value chain from product ideation to research & development to manufacturing to service in a closed-loop manner to accelerate bringing quality and regulatory compliant products to market faster and drive improved business success. Implementation majorly focuses on Part& Doc management, EBOM & MBOM management, BOM management, Change Management, upstream & downstream integration with CAD, legacy PLM and ERP systems, Access Control management, Reporting & Analytics. This will be predominantly achieved with Teamcenter OOTB, configurations and customizations. Facilitate the data migration from legacy PLM systems to Teamcenter, which includes Data Migration Strategy & Planning, Data Extraction & Cleansing Support.

 

Teamcenter Techno Functional Consultant:

  •  Total IT experience in PLM Implementation & Strategic Consulting 14+ years
  • Support various Accounts and work with current and prospective clients to capitalize on additional opportunities in PLM, Digital areas around the Engineering space. 
  • Define transformation path enabling the customer to achieve business objectives leveraging know how and technologies
  • Consult and Design PLM Digital areas including presenting industry leading practices, conducting design workshops and formulating solutions that can be implemented to achieve desired business results
  • Lead discussions with client executives and communicate findings
  • Support inhouse RFP’s along with the presales team by identifying technical tasks and system dependencies
  • Present business case to client executives to seek buy-in
  • Experience in Consulting /implementing Siemens PLM – Teamcenter in various industrial domains like Auto OEM, Energy & Utilities, CPG, MedTech, Aerospace, Consumer Goods etc
  • Ability to analyze stakeholders’ requirements, define & design business prcoesses, solution design and definition, ability to drive organizational change management & release management
  • Provide PLM & QMS process/functional and Teamcenter consultancy and expertise during project release phases such as requirements/process design, solution design, build, validation and rollout.
  •  Support Olympus team in defining requirements and process definitions.
  • Support process and functional risks assessments.
  • Review the process, solution design, requirement specification and traceability artifacts. And provide necessary feedback/ approvals.
  • Participate in UAT to validate the solution built by Olympus’ designated System Integrator (SI) and provide feedback/approval.
  • Support preparation of data migration activities from Olympus side.
  • Support training of user community.
  • Support go-live and rollout activities

Language Skills

  • Bilingual  Japanese Language proficiency N2 with good English written and verbal communication skills.
