1. How do I apply for a job at Wipro Technologies?

• We at Wipro prefer to receive electronic candidate applications. If you wish to update your profile at any point in time you can do so. Please be advised that we do not accept unsolicited approaches from recruitment agencies on your behalf.
• Your application should include a summary of your employment, education and experience, plus any other information that you think we would be interested in knowing about.
• You may send us a general application to express your interest, or choose from one of our many advertised vacancies and make a specific application to a position.
• Due to the volume of candidate applications we receive, those that are specific applications for an advertised 'current vacancy' will be given first consideration.

2. How do I apply? It's easy and simple to apply for jobs at Wipro Technologies. You can log-in to Wipro's career portal and post your profile.

3. What happens after I apply?

• If you apply to Wipro Technologies through this website you will get an 'acknowledgement message' that appears in your internet browser confirming receipt of your details.

• If you choose to send us a specific application (e.g. a currently advertised vacancy) we will retain your details in our system so that we may contact you at a later date.

4. What happens if I send a general application?

• If you choose to send us a general application (that is, not relating to any of our currently advertised vacancies) we will retain your details in our system.
• Due to the volume of general applications we receive, we are unable to provide everyone with 1:1 follow-up and suggest that you save our Careers Site address in your 'Favorites' so that you can check in on new opportunities regularly.

5. I was referred by an employee of Wipro Technologies. What will happen next? The profile will come in to the system and will be screened by our recruiters for a current opening. If the profile is found suitable for the job opening you will be informed of the next steps. In case no open job requirement matches your profile, your profile will remain in our database for 6 months and during that time our recruiter will keep on screening your profile against new openings, after which it get auto deleted.

6. While searching for jobs, I saw a job that I think would suit someone else. Can I share the details online? Yes, you can most certainly share a listing with people who you think might fit the bill. Thank you, we appreciate it!

7. When I search for a specific job number, I get the message "There are currently no open positions matching [that number]." What should I do? If you're not able to find the job number for a specific job, this means that position is no longer active and you will not be able to apply for it.

8. I was referred for a specific job, but was not hired. Will I be considered for other jobs in the future? Yes, as per policy, you can re-apply after 6 months from the date you last attended the hiring process

1. What qualities does Wipro look for in a candidate? Wipro is always searching for the best and brightest from campuses across the world. Good communication skills, strong work ethics and adaptability skills are always important in whatever role you are interested in. For more specifics on individual positions, please refer to list of key competencies required for the job.

2. What is the selection process for entry level/fresher candidates? It is a three stage recruitment process for entry level hires: A) Aptitude Test B) Technical Interview & C) HR Interview. Each stage is an elimination round.

3. What are the different technology streams available in Wipro for freshers? Based on business requirements, freshers who join Wipro will be trained on any of the technology streams that are in demand at that point in time.

4. What is the venue for the examination? WASE/WiSTA is a completely flexible examination. You have the choice to choose your venue, time and date of examination. We will send you a mail with a link to a web page where you can schedule the examination yourself. Please note, this site will allocate the centre on a first-come-first-served basis. The venue for the Wipro Entrance Test will be intimated to you by mail after you schedule the examination.

5. How will the test be conducted? The test will be conducted completely online (internet based). All arrangements will be carried out at the test venue for you to perform the test online. Detailed instructions for the test will be sent to you by e-mail.

6. What is the structure of the Wipro Entrance Test?

• Verbal: This section will have questions on the lines of CAT and GMAT entrance examinations. It will include synonyms, antonyms, sentence structuring, grammar, paragraph comprehension, etc. Any guide books available for CAT and GMAT will assist you in the preparation of this section.
• Analytical: As above
• Mathematics: Questions will pertain to Trigonometry, Calculus, Differentiation, Algebra, Integration, Matrices and Coordinate Geometry. You will need to revise your 11th and 12th level mathematics to successfully attempt this section.

7. Can I change my test centre, once I have chosen it once? No. You will have the option to choose the test centre only once.

8. Is there negative marking in the examination? No. There is no negative marking.

9. I have forgotten my reference number. I am unable to log in to schedule the test? You may mail us at fresher.hiring@wipro.com

10. When will we receive the results? The results are declared every Tuesday.

11. When are we going to receive information on the dates and location for technical and HR Interviews? We will update you with this information after publishing your results.

12. I am a resident of 'X' city and I have been allotted 'Y' city as centre. Can this be changed? We have carried out optimization of centres based on availability of students in each city. We would request you to choose an appropriate time and date and make arrangements to travel to 'Y' city to appear for the examination.

13. I am having trouble logging into the website for scheduling my exam? You may mail us at fresher.hiring@wipro.com

14. Will my cost of travel be reimbursed for the test? No. The cost of travel will be borne by the candidate.

15. If my joining location is different from my home location, will my travel at the time of joining be reimbursed? Yes. For Entry Level Hires, the same can be claimed by submitting the actual receipts post joining. Please refer to the compensation annexure attached as part of your offer package for more details.

16. Will I have the option to select my work location?

• We have delivery centers located in all major cities across India including Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Kolkata & Delhi/NCR.
• You are requested to provide your 3 primary joining location preferences during the recruitment process.
• Your location of joining will be mapped in line with your preference vis-à-vis business requirement at the time of joining. However, business requirements will be given first priority at any stage.

1. How can I find out when Wipro Technologies will be at my college/university? Check with the campus placement officer at your university to see if (and when) Wipro Technologies will be visiting your college/university.

2. Does Wipro Technologies have internship or other programs for students and what is the process?

• Yes. We do have internship and other programs for students.
• Do visit the CAMPUS section of our website and in particular the MBAs section.
• You can also visit your campus placement officers to find out when Wipro Technologies will visit your university.

3. How long do internship jobs last? Internship assignments are normally from two to three months in duration. Do check with the campus placement office at your university to see if and when Wipro Technologies will be visiting your college/university

1. What should I do first when I reach the Wipro campus? Please present yourself at the reception area and mention that you are a new joinee. You will be given a temporary pass. Please ensure that this pass is always worn and visible on your person inside the campus. Your reporting will be followed by document collection & verification.

2. What is the dress code that I should follow? The dress code is formal on all days except Fridays where smart casuals are allowed. The men may wear trousers/shirt and closed shoes. Ladies may wear trousers/shirt or Indian formal wear. Open t-shirts, cargoes, capris or casual wear are not permissible under the Wipro dress code.

3. Will my training location and project location be the same? Not necessarily - the project location depends on the business requirement that you are allocated and the allocation will be communicated to you in advance.

4. What will I need to carry with me? If you are part of the WASE or WiSTA course, study material will be provided to you during the Induction. You need to carry a pen/small note pad to note down any important information.

5. Are there any formalities that I need to complete before joining Wipro? Yes, there are a few formalities which are mandatory and have to be completed before joining Wipro. Please refer our Welcome e-mail.

6. Could we take leave during the training? No - You are expected to be in training for the complete duration, as applicable.

7. Is there a canteen facility in the office? Yes, there are multiple options to choose from at the office canteen. Tea and coffee is also available.

8. Can I bring my personal laptop or will I be given one once I join? In-line with the Wipro security policy, personal laptops/pen drives, etc are not allowed. You will be assigned a desktop to work on at the appropriate time during the technical induction.

9. What are the reimbursements we can claim for travel? Please retain your travel tickets along with a photocopy as this would be required for processing reimbursements. If you are travelling in a group, you can submit a photocopy of the ticket for reimbursement.

10. Are there any suggested areas to stay in? The stay will depend on your training/work location. We will inform you of the training/project locations in advance to enable you to plan for long-term accommodation.

11. Are there any helplines to help me plan my stay and transport since I am new to the place? On the day you report, you would be provided with real estate contact details. You may also refer to the local Just Dial numbers (city code + 2333 3333) or check on the Internet for suitable accommodation options based on your requirements.

12. Wipro is such a vast organization. Is there someone who I can reach out to, in case I need help in Wipro? You can contact our Helpdesk team at our Toll free number 1800 103 4678 or email manager.campus@wipro.com for clarifications on your date of joining between 8.30 am to 6.00pm. Monday to Friday (1PM to 1:45PM is lunch hour)

13. Would I be able to postpone my joining date? We advise you to join us on the scheduled date. For emergencies you may e-mail manager.campus@wipro.com supported with valid reason and documents (if any). We would reply to your request within 48 hours based upon business availability.

14. Do I need to carry the service and/or reliving letter from my previous organisation? Yes - As part of Wipro's integrity policy we would need you to complete all the formalities with your previous employers, as applicable.

15. Can I bring my parents during joining? Sorry, as a part of security measures, parents cannot accompany you during your joining formalities.

16. What is the difference between date of reporting and date of joining?

• Freshers who undergo Project Readiness Program (PRP) training would need to report a week prior to their effective date of joining. This helps in early completion of their joining formalities and helps us plan the training schedule.
• Candidates are requested to utilise the days after completion of their joining formalities to plan on their accommodation and daily travel arrangements to office/training location.
• Candidates who join the business units directly may need to join immediately after completion of joining formalities. Please refer our reporting e-mail for specific details.

17. Would I be eligible for maternity leave? Expecting women employees would be eligible to avail maternity leave upon completion of 80 days from the date of joining.

18. Would you assist in opening a bank account? We will assist you with opening your Wipro salary account during your joining formalities.

1. I have been contacted by an agency for a job at Wipro Technologies in exchange of money. Is this authentic?

• At Wipro, integrity is of utmost importance and there is no compromise made on the quality of talent employed. Wipro does not entertain payment of any kind from candidates for employment. Please note that these are fake job offers. In case you or any of your acquaintances receives such mails, please do not pay/deposit money. These mails must be ignored and reported SPAM. But in the event there was already a payment made, please lodge a complaint with the nearest police station.

2. Does Wipro Technologies check references? Yes. Wipro Technologies reserves the right to check references and educational qualifications extensively for any candidate at any point in the recruitment process.
