Role Overview

The Data Centre Operations & ICC Administrator is responsible for ensuring the availability, stability, and compliant operation of Data Centre (DC) and Integrated Command Centre (ICC) services. The role supports 24×7 monitoring, facilities coordination, vendor management, audit readiness, and SLA compliance across multiple Data Centre locations.

 

Key Responsibilities

· Oversee day-to-day DC and ICC operations to ensure high availability and service continuity.

· Monitor ICC alerts and ensure timely escalation to the appropriate resolver teams.

· Ensure monitoring platforms (BMC / TrueSight, ICC tools, JMS backend) are always operational.

· Coordinate operations delivery with vendors, including parts delivery, replacements, and validation.

· Manage DC facilities activities, including inspections, reporting, power checks, cabling, and monthly testing in coordination with Chargemen.

· Ensure DC availability and compliance with contractual SLAs, validated through monthly ARC reports.

· Manage JMS reporting and ensure timely submission of operational and financial reports to Finance, including confirmation with PBB, Postpaid, eBay, and MBB teams.

· Maintain CMDB accuracy, including updates for server decommissioning and validation using approved trackers.

· Coordinate server decommissioning by confirming non-usage with customers and system owners prior to execution.

· Maintain updated DC layouts for all Data Centres and submit for SLA and governance approval.

· Support operational and audit requirements and submit reports to customers and stakeholders when required.

· Manage DC/ICC SOPs, conduct regular site visits, and ensure operational discipline.

· Supervise DC and ICC staff, provide backup coverage, and train new team members on monitoring and procedures.

 

Skills & Competencies

· Strong understanding of Data Centre operations and ICC monitoring environments.

· Hands-on experience with enterprise monitoring tools (BMC / TrueSight, ICC platforms, JMS).

· Excellent coordination skills across vendors, facilities teams, and technology towers.

· High attention to detail with strong documentation and audit discipline.

· Ability to operate effectively in SLA-driven, high-availability environments.

 

Experience & Qualifications

· 4–7 years of experience in Data Centre Operations, ICC, or Infrastructure Operations roles.

· Experience in large enterprise or telecom Data Centre environments preferred.

· Exposure to SLA management, CMDB, audits, and facilities coordination.

Mandatory Skills: IT Operations Management .

 

Experience: 1-3 Years .
