Position Overview

  • We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Administrator / Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in next‑generation datacenter fabrics, SD‑WAN technologies, and advanced routing architectures. This role will lead the design, deployment, and optimization of complex, large‑scale enterprise, and hybrid‑cloud networks with a strong emphasis on Cisco ACI, Cisco SD‑WAN, VMware VeloCloud, and Segment Routing. Candidates with experience in SRv6, Google Cloud /Azure networking, and Nutanix Flow will be strongly preferred.

 

  • Key Responsibilities
    • Network Architecture & Strategy: Lead enterprise-wide architecture, roadmap, and design for datacenter, WAN, and cloud networks.
    • Cisco ACI: Architect and manage multi-pod, multi-site ACI fabrics.
    • SD‑WAN: Lead design and optimization of Cisco SD‑WAN and VMware VeloCloud environments.
    • Segment Routing: Architect solutions using SR‑MPLS; provide guidance for SRv6 adoption.
    • Cloud Networking: Support Google and Azure cloud networking (VPCs, VNets, ExpressRoute, Interconnect).
    • Nutanix: Manage AHV networking and Nutanix Flow micro segmentation.
    • Operations: Lead troubleshooting, incident management, compliance, and documentation.
    • Leadership: Mentor team members and lead strategic network initiatives.
  • Perform network device software and hardware upgrades.
  • Ensure adherence to network standards, policies, and best practices.
  • Monitor and report compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Operating Level Agreements (OLAs).
  • Track and report current network loads and utilization.
  • Prepare thresholds, alerts, and exception reports.
  • Report trending and capacity-related data to support planning and decision-making.
  • Network Performance, Tuning & Capacity Management
  • Perform performance tuning of network devices to optimize throughput and reliability.
  • Provide technical guidance and resolve P1/P2 incidents. Help drafting RCAs for closures.

 

 

Required Skills & Experience

• Expert in Cisco ACI, Cisco SD‑WAN, VMware VeloCloud, Segment Routing.

• Strong routing protocol experience: OSPF, IS‑IS, BGP, MPLS, EVPN, VXLAN.

• Strong troubleshooting and packet-level analysis.

 

Preferred / Bonus Skills

• SRv6

• Google Cloud & Azure networking

• Nutanix networking, Nutanix Flow

• Certifications: CCNP/CCIE, VeloCloud, Nutanix NCP/NCM, Google/Azure Network Engineer

Mandatory Skills: Cisco Routing and Switching .

 

Experience: 3-5 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $45,000 to $121,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
