Agentic AI Developer – Azure AI Foundry / Copilot Studio

Role Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Agentic AI Developer dedicated to the design, development, and deployment of scalable, production-grade AI agents. This key role involves leveraging the Microsoft Azure AI Foundry platform and Copilot Studio to build intelligent, autonomous agents that empower enterprise workflows and drive innovation at scale.

Core Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize robust single and multi-agent workflows focusing on classification, validation, exception management, and human-in-the-loop processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency within AI operations.
• Develop, configure, and deploy AI agents by harnessing the capabilities of Azure AI Foundry, crafting business-centric agents using Microsoft Copilot Studio, and seamlessly integrating these within complex enterprise orchestration environments.
• Integrate AI agents with diverse enterprise systems including APIs, line-of-business applications, and event-driven triggers such as emails, Microsoft Teams, and SharePoint, ensuring smooth interoperability and reliability.
• Develop and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines involving document ingestion and vector similarity search to enhance the AI agents’ ability to access and utilize knowledge bases effectively.
• Ensure solutions meet stringent production readiness standards, emphasizing continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), comprehensive monitoring, observability practices, security compliance, and governance protocols.

Key Qualifications and Technical Expertise

• Demonstrable hands-on experience in developing and deploying agentic AI solutions in live production environments, showcasing end-to-end lifecycle management from conceptualization to maintenance.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python and C# or equivalent, enabling the design of scalable, maintainable AI components and workflows.
• Deep familiarity with Azure AI Foundry and Microsoft Copilot Studio platforms, including their APIs, development tools, and deployment strategies.
• Experience with workflow orchestration technologies like Logic Apps and Power Automate to streamline automation processes and enhance agent workflows.
• Strong background in enterprise system integration encompassing API management, authentication mechanisms, and data source connectivity to facilitate seamless AI agent collaboration across IT ecosystems.

Additional Desirable Skills

• Knowledge of innovative AI frameworks such as Semantic Kernel, LangGraph, and AutoGen, which can augment agent capabilities for advanced scenarios.
• Insight into observability practices, including setting up guardrails and agent governance policies to maintain responsible AI usage and operational security.
