We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated AI Lead to join our dynamic Data Analytics and Artificial Intelligence team at Wipro Technologies. This pivotal role entails leading innovative AI and machine learning initiatives that drive transformative solutions in healthcare and other strategic sectors. As an AI Lead, you will collaborate with global, cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy state-of-the-art AI models, ensuring the highest standards for ethical AI practice and technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end development and deployment of advanced AI models, specializing in generative AI, deep learning, and natural language processing (NLP) within cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud Platform.
• Architect scalable machine learning solutions that leverage structured and unstructured data, integrating NLP, NLU, and multimodal data processing.
• Drive innovation through rigorous experimentation, statistical analysis, and A/B testing to validate model effectiveness and uncover actionable insights.
• Establish and enforce AI best practices, including Responsible Use of AI (RUAI) policies, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and data privacy regulations across all AI deployments.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to design robust MLOps pipelines to streamline continuous integration and deployment of AI models.
• Mentor and guide team members on AI methodologies, programming proficiency, and emerging technologies, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration.
• Manage large-scale proof-of-concept projects and prioritize technology adoption to advance organizational AI capabilities.
• Stay at the forefront of AI research and trends, evaluating and integrating next-generation technologies such as GPT, LLaMA, Mistral, model quantization, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG).
• Communicate complex AI concepts, project progress, and outcomes effectively to stakeholders across technical and business domains.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Extensive experience in AI/ML, particularly with generative AI models and large language models (LLMs).
• Strong proficiency in Python programming and deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
• Solid foundation in SQL and additional programming languages tailored for data analysis and modeling.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within diverse, distributed teams in a global context.
• Proven knowledge of GPU utilization and rapid pipeline setup for testing innovative AI solutions.
• Expertise in NLP domains including transformers, attention mechanisms, text embedding techniques, and model optimization.
• Deep understanding of AI ethics, explainability, and frameworks ensuring responsible AI deployment.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills.
• Hands-on experience working with GitHub for collaborative software development projects.
• Familiarity with data preprocessing, feature engineering, and development of big data pipelines to support robust AI applications.
