Job Description

JD - Cloud Engineer:

We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Engineer with deep expertise in AWS to design, build, and manage complex cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, gather requirements, and lead end-to-end implementation using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) and automation best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Own the end-to-end implementation of cloud infrastructure, including coding, testing, deployment, and documentation.
  • Maintain and enhance a multi-account AWS Landing Zone using AWS Control Tower and IAM Identity Center.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Terragrunt, and CloudFormation.
  • Integrate and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot systems using CloudWatch, Grafana, and other observability tools.
  • Configure and manage AWS networking components such as VPC, Subnets, ELB, Transit Gateway, etc.
  • Implement high availability, disaster recovery, monitoring, alerting, and testing strategies.
  • Configure SAML and SCIM integrations with identity providers like Okta.
  • Automate AWS account creation for business units using RunOn and Python scripts.
  • Use Python to deploy AWS accounts in specific environments (e.g., dev, prod).
  • Manage user onboarding and group access using MyID.
  • Conduct peer reviews of infrastructure code and identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and frameworks such as FedRAMP, SOC 2, and ISO.
  • Experience with Unix/Linux systems and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of cloud security best practices and compliance standards.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer).
  • Experience working in Agile/DevOps environments.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
