Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable technical Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in both UNIX and Windows operating systems, with a strong understanding of system administration. This role requires expertise in various scripting languages, development tools, and cloud solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain UNIX and Windows operating systems at an advanced level.
  • Administer RedHat Linux environments and perform Kesh/bash scripting.
  • Utilize AFP file structure and composition tools, as well as PDF file technology and conversion tools.
  • Develop and maintain applications using JAVA.
  • Work with Horizon (Atlassian) tools such as JIRA, Bitbucket, and Confluence.
  • Implement and manage CI/CD systems and deployment techniques.
  • Handle DB2 and SQL Server databases, including SQL skills.
  • Use Microsoft tools like Excel, Word, Project, Visio, and Outlook.

Required Skills:

  • Familiarity with HP Exstream and Message Point composition tools.
  • Knowledge of mainframe tools such as TSO/SDSF and JCL PROC.
  • Understanding of network architecture, solutions, and server configurations.
  • Experience with commercial roll printing technologies and vendor software.
  • Knowledge of commercial envelope stuffing machines and supporting technologies.
  • Understanding of commercial mailing solutions in compliance with USPS regulations.
  • Familiarity with security scanning tools like Splunk, Dynatrace, and Qualys.
  • Knowledge of cloud solutions including Azure, AWS, and various service models (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS)
Mandatory Skills: Unix - Implementation and Maintenance .

 

Experience: 5-8 Years .

 

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 . Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
