Implementation Engineer
Job Description
The Implementation Engineer plays an essential role in the deployment and setup of software or systems within the client’s business environment. This position involves working closely with the client to understand their technical requirements and business objectives, translating these needs into a functional and efficient system. The engineering level resource will be responsible for taking an already completed Arista design and configuration and performing the hands-on execution work. The resource should have basic network experience as well as basic Ansible experience (ability to run a script and identify if the script is not running properly). Some basic knowledge of Arista CVP would be desirable.
Key Roles and Responsibilities
· Meet client-specific requirements, ensuring compatibility with their existing IT infrastructure and systems.
· Perform rigorous testing of systems to ensure stability, efficiency, and security before full-scale implementation.
· Provide detailed documentation and standard operating procedures for the client, ensuring they understand the new systems and any changes made.
· Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the implementation phase, offering timely and effective solutions.
· Coordinate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and on-budget delivery of implementation projects.
· Evaluate post-implementation system performance, making adjustments as necessary and providing ongoing support and optimization services.

Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, business, finance or related field/technical training. Must have strong analytical skills.
· Minimum of 3 years’ experience required in technical role in the following focus areas: Data Center, Cisco Nexus Platform switches, Arista, Arista CVP desired, BGP, Automation experience – must have Ansible. Python is a plus.
· Unix/Linux background is a plus.
· CCIE preferred
· Financial services (Insurance, Banking, Investment banking), is a plus.
· Ability to be nimble and flexible; prioritize workload, proactively react to issues and consistently react to shifting deadlines.
· Ability to work weekends (as needed) for migration work

Do
- Ensure timely response of all the tickets raised by the client end user
- Service requests solutioning by maintaining quality parameters
- Act as a custodian of client’s network/ server/ system/ storage/ platform/ infrastructure and other equipment’s to keep track of each of their proper functioning and upkeep
- Keep a check on the number of tickets raised (dial home/ email/ chat/ IMS), ensuring right solutioning as per the defined resolution timeframe
- Perform root cause analysis of the tickets raised and create an action plan to resolve the problem to ensure right client satisfaction
- Provide an acceptance and immediate resolution to the high priority tickets/ service
- Installing and configuring software/ hardware requirements based on service requests
- 100% adherence to timeliness as per the priority of each issue, to manage client expectations and ensure zero escalations
- Provide application/ user access as per client requirements and requests to ensure timely solutioning
- Track all the tickets from acceptance to resolution stage as per the resolution time defined by the customer
- Maintain timely backup of important data/ logs and management resources to ensure the solution is of acceptable quality to maintain client satisfaction
- Coordinate with on-site team for complex problem resolution and ensure timely client servicing
- Review the log which Chat BOTS gather and ensure all the service requests/ issues are resolved in a timely manner
