Job Description
- Hardware Installation & Deployment: Install, replace, and troubleshoot servers, network devices, and cabling across data center environments
- Port Audits & Connectivity Validation: perform audits of physical data connections between switches and servers, ensuring accurate port mappings and resolving misconfigurations.
- Diagnostics & Troubleshooting: Perform diagnostics on a variety of hardware, identify root causes of failures, and escalate issues as needed.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed records of device locations, configurations, and audit findings using approved templates and systems.
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere to secure environment procedures, data handling policies, and safety protocols including PPE and hazard analysis.
- Collaboration: Work closely with deployment teams, network engineers, and site services to coordinate installations and resolve discrepancies
- Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with data center hardware, tools, and operations; ability to manage change associated with new technical requirements
- Hands-On Capability: Must be physically present in the data center to handle hardware, trace cables, and perform audits.
- Shift Flexibility: Willingness to work afternoon and weekend shifts to support 24/7 operations.
- Communication & Coordination: Ability to collaborate across teams and document findings clearly.
- Linux Proficiency: Good command-line skills, basic scripting skills, and familiarity with Linux distributions used in enterprise environments.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $25,000 to $50,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
