The Mission

The Wipro CTO is seeking a visionary Leader to architect the future of Advanced AI innovation. You will bridge the gap between breakthrough research and industrial-scale impact, leading our strategic AI innovation charter. This isn't just about managing projects; it’s about defining how Agentic and Physical AI will transform global industries.

 

Your Core Mandate

  1. Define the Frontier: Lead the Advanced AI charter, delivering high-impact solutions across Horizon 1, 2, and 3 innovation cycles.
  2. Architect Ecosystems: Amplify Wipro’s global presence by integrating Agentic and Physical AI into differentiated, market-leading solutions.
  3. Lead the Elite: Mentor a high-performance CTO team of AI scientists and engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and creative experimentation.
  4. Strategic Partnerships: Orchestrate collaboration with Hyperscalers, Frontier AI Labs (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google), and top-tier academic institutions.
  5. Influence the Market: Act as a key technical voice in high-stakes client engagements, RFPs, and proactive innovation proposals.

Who Excels

  1. Educational Foundation: A PhD or Master’s in Computer Science in  AI, and  ML is preferred. However, a distinguished track record of equivalent technical contributions and architectural leadership is highly valued.
  2. Proven Impact: 15+ years of experience delivering innovative AI solutions within global organizations or high-growth frontier labs.
  3. Shipped Innovation: Demonstrated success in leading high-stakes AI initiatives—moving from research and whitepapers to production-scale systems that drive measurable business value.
  4. Frontier Tech Mastery: Deep, hands-on proficiency with the latest LLM and Generative AI frameworks (e.g., Claude, OpenAI, Gemini and Open Models ). Staying at the cutting edge of "what’s next" is essential.
  5. Ecosystem Leadership: The experience and comfort in working industry with Wipro peers, Hyperscaler and Frontier  Lab  partners, startup founders and researchers from reputed universities
  6. Domain Depth: Extensive industry knowledge with the ability to translate complex AI capabilities into specific, high-impact functional solutions.
  7. Technical Knowledge: Proven mastery in  Architecture and Design archetypes in Digital and Advanced AI domains.
  8. People : Mentoring experience and the ability to manage client expectations and diverse stakeholder ecosystems are needed.
