Role Summary

 

 

We are seeking a highly skilled OMP Supply Planning (OPR) certified professional with demonstrated experience in implementing and configuring key modules including Master Production Scheduling (MPS)Detailed Production Scheduling (DPS/DS), and Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP).

The ideal candidate will be part of a project team comprising certified OMP Supply Planning consultants with proven expertise in deploying OPR solvers, and performing integrations and data migrations with SAP APO, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP ECC.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Leverage hands-on experience with OMP Supply Planning (OPR) and its modules:
  • Master Production Scheduling (MPS)
  • Detailed Production Scheduling (DPS/DS)
  • Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP)
  • Configure and deploy OMP Supply Planning (OPR) solvers.
  • Perform integration and data migration with SAP APOSAP S/4HANA, and SAP ECC.
  • Understand client business requirements and pain points, and act as a business integration consultant to translate these into effective OMP solutions.
  • Lead or support business process analysis, solution design, validation, testing, and deployment phases.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to senior stakeholders, including clients and executive leadership.
  • Ensure data integrity and process compliance throughout all phases of implementation.
  • Work effectively in high-pressure environments, showing flexibility and a proactive mindset.
  • Serve as a liaison among Project Managers, Solution Architects, and client stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop end-to-end functional and technical solutions.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer during pre-Go-Live, Go-Live, and post-Go-Live phases.

͏Required Skills & Qualifications:

 

  • OMP Supply Planning (SP/OPR) Certification is mandatory.
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience in OMP implementation and support.
  • Strong expertise in MPS, DPS/DS, and DRP modules.
  • Deep understanding of master and transactional data required for Demand and Supply Planning.
  • Experience designing, developing, and testing functional specifications for customizations, integrations, and reporting.
  • Proficiency in preparing business process documentation and workflows.
  • Strong understanding of SolversOPAL configuration, and system integration frameworks.
  • Familiarity with SAP ERP systems (ECC, S/4HANA) and SAP APO (preferred).
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and accurately estimate project tasks and deliverables.
  • Solution-oriented, collaborative, and able to adapt quickly in dynamic environments.
