Application Engineer (Supply Chain - O9)
Role Summary Design, build, and enhance enterprise applications supporting supply chain planning, procurement, and automation. Develop scalable, secure solutions across o9 planning, demand management, and procurement workflows.
Key Responsibilities

Own product architecture and partner with product, design, and engineering to deliver business‑optimized solutions.

Build and maintain scalable, secure enterprise applications.

Develop microservices, REST and GraphQL APIs for integrations.
-
Write reliable, high‑performance code with monitoring and alerting.
-
Conduct design/code reviews and uphold engineering standards.
-
Improve system performance, scalability, and operational efficiency.

Lead strategic initiatives, including:

Onboarding Edge/IP capabilities into o9
-
Building consumption data pipelines
-
Enhancing Demand Hub
-
Developing PO Simulation Agents
-
Automating consignment and drop‑ship procurement workflows
-
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in CS, Engineering, IS, or equivalent.
-
5+ years software development (Java, PHP, C++, JavaScript, React, Angular, etc.).
-
5+ years building microservices, REST, and GraphQL APIs.
-
Experience with o9 Solutions.

Strong MySQL and database design skills.
-
Experience with enterprise integrations and transactional workflows.
-
Background in supply chain, procurement, or workflow automation.
-
Professional fluency in English.
Preferred Qualifications

5+ years modeling data flows and system integrations.
-
Experience in supply chain planning, procurement, demand management, or automation.
-
Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, monitoring, and observability.

Effective delivery of o9 onboarding and demand planning initiatives.

Increased automation across procurement and supply chain workflows.

Improved system scalability, reliability, and efficiency.

Reduced manual effort through intelligent automation.

Experience: 5-8 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $148,500 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
