Overview
The Chief of Staff is a senior strategic partner to the Industry Cloud & Digital (ICD) Service Line Head and Business Owner of the WEGA platform. The role exists to drive business outcomes by shaping strategy, enabling execution, and extending leadership capacity across ICD and WEGA.
Operating at the intersection of business strategy, operations, AI-led transformation, and leadership communication, the Chief of Staff works closely with the executive to translate priorities into measurable impact. This role will evolve based on business needs and the working dynamic with the executive, requiring strong judgment and comfort operating in ambiguity.
Responsibilities
Strategy and business outcomes
- Partner with the executive to prioritize and deliver strategic initiatives for ICD
- Lead strategic reviews & planning cycles ensuring decisions convert into action
- Synthesize market trends, competitor activity, and AI adoption signals into actionable insights
- Translate strategic intent into execution plans, operating cadence, and governance across sales, delivery, finance, HR, and communications teams
- Track and report progress against business KPIs and strategic priorities
Leadership leverage and representation
- Act as an extension of the executive across leadership forums, operating as a contextual observer or active contributor
- Represent the executive in selected meetings and initiatives, driving decisions and alignment on their behalf
- Lead cross-functional teams with authority, ensuring clarity of ownership and outcomes
- Identify & resolve gaps in decision-making, accountability, or communication across ICD

WEGA platform and AI enablement
- Support the executive in their role as Business Owner of the WEGA platform, spanning alignment, adoption, and value realization
- Drive alignment between ICD business priorities and WEGA roadmap, capabilities, and usage
- Actively use AI in day-to-day work to automate workflows, synthesize information, and improve personal effectiveness
- Champion AI-native ways of working by modeling adoption, identifying use cases, and encouraging experimentation across teams
Communication and executive operations
- Serve as a trusted liaison between the executive and senior leaders
- Prepare executive-level narratives, presentations, and briefing materials for internal and external audiences
- Build and strengthen the executive’s leadership presence through communications
- Attend key meetings to capture decisions and actions, ensuring disciplined follow-through
Qualifications
- Strong strategic thinking with the ability to operate independently in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with executive-level synthesis capability
- Ability to seamlessly shift between big‑picture strategy and detailed execution, switching context quickly without losing clarity.
- Proven ability to lead through influence and operate without formal authority
- High judgment, discretion, and comfort handling sensitive information

- Prior experience in consulting, business strategy, operations, or Chief of Staff roles
- Experience working closely with senior executives or leadership teams
- Exposure to AI platforms, data products, or technology-led business transformation

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $200,000.00 to $280,000.00.
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
