Job Description

  • Experience: 7+ years of hands-on Java development, with a solid foundation in backend application design, RESTful APIs, and common frameworks such as Spring Boot.
  • Continuous Learner: Demonstrates a proactive approach to picking up new technologies, patterns, and best practices — comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving requirements.
  • AI-Augmented Workflow: Proficient in leveraging AI tools (e.g., Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Roo Code or similar) to accelerate development, improve code quality, and solve complex problems efficiently.
  • Collaboration: A strong team player who communicates clearly, participates actively in code reviews, and contributes positively to a cross-functional engineering team.
  • Quality Mindset: Writes clean, well-tested, and maintainable code with attention to performance, security, and scalability.
  • Adaptability: Thrives in a fast-paced contracting environment, delivers reliably within agreed timelines, and seeks feedback to continuously improve.

Coding and Configuration Develop and deliver code for assigned modules, in alignment with client requirements ensuring proper integration with system components.

Work on assigned modules using standard practices and documentation protocols.

 
Mandatory Skills: Enterprise Platform Java Microservices .

 

Experience: 3-5 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $45,000 to $121,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
