Job Description: 

PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT - TECH & IMPL

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist upstream planning, design and acquisition teams in developing infrastructure requirements, priorities, and delivery date expectations.  
  • Manage the delivery of large scale network infrastructure projects involving Leased 3rd Party Metro fiber, Longhaul circuits (backbone 10G, 100G), Colocation space and power, and Peering connectivity from inception through installation. 
  • Ensure facilities are delivered on schedule and meet technical specifications.  
  • Lead kickoff and regular project status meetings while keeping downstream teams at Google aware of project and delivery status. 
  • Manage exceptions, mitigate risks and issues, communicate and coordinate across the organization.  
  • Manage Provisioning resources responsible for tactical capacity connectivity, provisioning, and quality documentation.  
  • Facilitate bandwidth planning & optimization projects.   
  • Strategic Vendor Performance Management handling escalations as necessary when delivery timelines are at risk.

Experience: 8-10 Years .

 

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .

 

Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
