Job Description
The Consultant will be responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing SAP RAR solutions integrated with S/4HANA BRIM and SAP SD. This role requires technical understanding of BRF+ rules engine to automate revenue allocation, and functional expertise in IFRS 15/ASC 606 compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Solution Design & Configuration: Lead the design and configuration of SAP RAR/BRIM solutions, including Revenue Accounting Engines (RAE).
- BRF+ Application: Build and maintain BRF+ rules to map, validate, and process revenue contracts, performance obligations (POBs), and price allocations.
- Integration Support: Configure integration points between SAP RAR and BRIM (FICA/CI) and SD/FI-GL modules.
- Requirements Mapping: Translate complex accounting standards (IFRS 15/ASC 606) into actionable SAP solutions.
- Data Migration: Oversee the migration of existing contract data from legacy systems to SAP RAR.
- Testing & Support: Conduct functional testing, RICEFW design, and provide Support/AMS activities for live systems.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience: 6–10+ years of SAP functional experience, with a minimum of 2-3 full life-cycle implementations in S/4HANA RAR (version 1909 or higher).
- Core Expertise: Deep knowledge of SAP BRIM components (Convergent Invoicing, FICA) and Revenue Accounting & Reporting.
- BRF+ Knowledge: Hands-on experience with BRF+ Tables and Enhancement Spots.
- Functional Expertise: Strong understanding of the 5-Step Model for revenue recognition: SSP, Transaction Price, POBs, Variable Consideration, and Price Allocation.
- Technical Familiarity: Understanding of SAP ABAP debugging to resolve RAR technical issues is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Background in Finance (CA/MBA) or Computer Science.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to bridge finance and IT.
- Prior experience in telecom, media, or subscription-based industries.
Experience: 8-10 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from $80,000 to $158,000 .
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
