Azure Automation – Cloud Azure Admin

  • Own day-to-day Azure platform operations across subscriptions/tenants: compute, storage, networking, identity integrations and governance controls.
  • Design, build and maintain automation runbooks/workflows (e.g., Azure Automation, Functions, Logic Apps) for provisioning, patch orchestration, housekeeping and self-healing.
  • Implement and enforce Azure governance: policy, RBAC, resource tagging, cost management, naming standards, landing zone guardrails.
  • Manage monitoring and observability using Azure Monitor/Log Analytics/App Insights; set alerts, dashboards and actionable runbooks for rapid remediation.
  • Deliver incident, problem and change support in line with ITIL; perform RCA, trend analysis and continuous improvement for recurring platform issues.
  • Ensure security & compliance controls: secure configurations, secrets management, encryption, key vault integrations, audit logging, least privilege.
  • Support BCP/DR readiness: backup/restore validation, availability patterns, failover testing and resilience reporting.
  • Collaborate with architecture, network, security and application teams to enable platform reliability and performance.
  • Maintain operational documentation (SOPs, runbooks, CMDB updates) and meet SLA/KPI commitments.
