Job Description

Technical Skills

  • Basic to intermediate knowledge of: 
    • VMware vSphere (ESXi, vCenter)
    • VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) ecosystem
    • vSAN, NSX fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience in: 
    • VM provisioning and resource management
    • ESXi host operations and maintenance
    • Storage and networking basics in virtual environments
  • Familiarity with: 
    • Cisco UCS, Dell hardware tools (OME, UCS Manager/Central)
    • ITSM tools (ServiceNow / Remedy / Jira)
    • Automation tools (Ansible, PowerCLI)

 

Additional Skills

  • Understanding of OS administration and log analysis
  • Knowledge of patching and upgrade processes
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Good communication and escalation handling abilities

 

Behavioral Competencies

  • Ability to follow SOPs and compliance requirements
  • Strong documentation and reporting discipline
  • Proactive approach toward issue resolution and improvements
  • Effective coordination with cross-functional teams and vendors
