Role Purpose
The purpose of this role is to support delivery through development and deployment of tools.

  1. Deep expertise in Helix ITSM, DWP & Discovery suite functions, and extensibility
  2. Debug complex issues (data corruption, performance degradation, failed reconciliation jobs, integration failures), deliver RCA and permanent fixes.
  3. Strong CMDB engineering knowledge (best practices, normalization/reconciliation concepts)
  4. Build and optimize service catalog entries and workflows within the Digital Workplace Service Catalogue
  5. Develop automated approval processes, implement workflow steps that support service reliability, and ensure catalog items are aligned with business needs
  6. Integrate REST/API concepts and support seamless connections to other platforms, such as identity management and monitoring systems
  7. Design/support integrations (Helix Digital Workplace APIs, identity/SSO, CMDB feeds, ITOM/monitoring hooks) and coordinate cross-team changes
  8. Design and support integrations between BMC Discovery and Helix CMDB to enrich CI data
  9. Implement data feeds and pipelines that automate discovery and update of infrastructure components within the CMDB. Coordinate cross-team changes to maintain synchronization between discovered assets and the CMDB, enhancing visibility and supporting root cause analysis
  10. Plan and execute Helix upgrades/patches, including regression strategy, rollback planning, and production readiness validation
