Job Description
BA Lead – CMS is responsible for leading business analysis activities for Crew Management Systems and related aviation operational modules. This role ensures accurate requirements gathering, process optimization, and acts as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Gathering & Analysis
Conduct workshops and interviews to capture business needs for CMS and crew scheduling workflows.
Perform gap analysis and identify process improvement opportunities.
Documentation
Prepare BRDs, FSDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria aligned with Agile practices.
Maintain traceability matrices and ensure compliance with aviation standards (FAA/EASA).
Stakeholder Management
Collaborate with product owners, architects, and delivery teams for scope clarity.
Manage change requests and perform impact analysis.
Quality Assurance
Support UAT planning and execution; validate deliverables against requirements.
Leadership
Mentor junior BAs and enforce documentation standards across CMS modules.
Ensure consistency in analysis practices across aviation workflows
Core BA Skills
Strong experience in requirements elicitation, gap analysis, and business process modeling.
Expertise in BRD/FSD creation, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
Proficiency in tools like Jira, Confluence, MS Visio, and Azure DevOps.
Domain Knowledge
Deep understanding of Crew Management Systems (CMS) and aviation operations.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance (FAA/EASA) and airline industry standards.
Mandatory Skills: Business Analysis .
Experience: 8-10 Years .
The expected compensation for this role ranges from CAD 100000 to CAD 135000 .
