Wealth Management / Investment Management / Retail InvestmentsPosition OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with strong expertise in the Wealth & Investment Management domain to support strategic initiatives across investment products, client onboarding, account servicing, digital transformation, regulatory compliance, and platform modernization.The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of retail investment products, including GICs, Mutual Funds, ETFs, Equities, Fixed Income products, and registered investment accounts such as RRSP, TFSA, RESP, RRIF, FHSA, along with strong business analysis, stakeholder management, and requirements elicitation capabilities.The successful candidate will act as a liaison between business stakeholders, product owners, operations, compliance, and technology teams to deliver solutions that enhance advisor and client experiences while meeting regulatory and operational requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness Analysis & Requirements ManagementLead end-to-end business analysis activities throughout the project lifecycle.Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, discovery sessions, and requirement-gathering activities.Elicit, analyze, validate, and document business requirements.Develop and maintain:Business Requirement Documents (BRDs)Functional Requirement Documents (FRDs)User StoriesProcess FlowsUse CasesData Mapping DocumentsBusiness Rules DocumentationPerform gap analysis and impact assessments for new initiatives and enhancements.Translate business requirements into functional and system specifications.Wealth Management Domain AnalysisSupport initiatives related to:Mutual FundsExchange-Traded Funds (ETFs)Guaranteed Investment Certificates (GICs)Managed AccountsRegistered and Non-Registered AccountsFinancial Planning & Advisory PlatformsInvestment OperationsClient Onboarding & ServicingAnalyze end-to-end investment product life cycles.Understand and support advisor and client journeys across various wealth platforms.Collaborate with operations teams to optimize account opening, account servicing, transfers, and transaction processing.Stakeholder ManagementPartner with:Wealth Business LeadersFinancial AdvisorsProduct ManagersOperations TeamsCompliance & Risk TeamsTechnology TeamsAct as the primary point of contact between business and technology stakeholders.Manage stakeholder expectations and facilitate decision-making sessions.Present analysis findings and recommendations to senior leadership.Agile Delivery & Product ManagementWork closely with Product Owners and Scrum Teams.Develop and refine user stories and acceptance criteria.Participate in:Sprint PlanningBacklog GroomingDaily Stand-upsSprint ReviewsRetrospectivesSupport prioritization of backlog items and release planning.Data Analysis & Systems IntegrationAnalyze source-to-target data mappings.Conduct data profiling and validation activities.Collaborate with technical teams on:API integrationsWealth platform integrationsData migration initiativesReporting and analytics solutionsSupport modernization and digital transformation programs.Testing & Implementation SupportDefine test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria.Support SIT, UAT, and production validation activities.Coordinate defect triage and resolution.Assist with deployment planning and post-implementation support.Regulatory & Compliance SupportEnsure solutions comply with applicable regulatory requirements.Support audit and compliance initiatives.Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, and Legal stakeholders on regulatory changes impacting wealth products and client servicing.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from CAD 100000 to CAD 150000 .
