About the Role:
Wipro Consulting is seeking a Senior Manager with deep domain expertise in the Chemicals industry to drive growth, client impact, and digital transformation engagements. This leader will bring strong subject matter knowledge across chemical manufacturing, operations, and supply chain, while leveraging digital technologies—including AI, data, and advanced analytics—to solve complex business problems for global clients.
Key Responsibilities:
·         Serve as a trusted advisor to senior executives in the chemical sector, shaping digital and business transformation agendas.
·         Lead client engagements focused on manufacturing excellence, process optimization, sustainability, and regulatory compliance.
·         Design and implement AI/ML-enabled solutions for predictive maintenance, pricing optimization, demand forecasting, safety, and ESG reporting.
·         Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver end-to-end digital transformation programs.
·         Build and nurture relationships with industry bodies, technology partners, and thought leaders to advance Wipro’s chemicals practice.
·         Mentor and grow consulting teams with deep domain and digital capabilities.
Qualifications:
·         Master’s or PhD in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline (strong preference).
·         18+ years of experience in the Chemicals industry and/or consulting with proven impact in manufacturing, R&D, or commercial operations.
·         Strong understanding of chemical processes, specialty vs. commodity segments, and industry trends (e.g., sustainability, PFAS exit, digital plants).
·         Demonstrated track record of delivering digital and AI-enabled transformation initiatives in chemicals or process industries.
·         Excellent client-facing, leadership, and communication skills.

Expected annual pay for this role ranges from $150,000.00  to $230,000.00. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro’s standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options
