The role   

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Web Product Manager to drive the vision, strategy, design, and development of our customer-facing web platform. In this role, you will champion the product lifecycle —from ideation to launch —ensuring our web experience delivers exceptional customer value and meets key business objectives. This role requires familiarity with the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), as you will work closely with others across an Agile Release Train (ART). 

 

What you will do

● Product Strategy & Vision: Define and articulate the strategic vision and roadmap for the web product, ensuring alignment with the overall company strategy.

● SAFe Alignment: Act as the Customer Proxy and Product Visionary within the Agile Release Train (ART). Participate actively in PI Planning (Program Increment Planning), defining and prioritizing features to be delivered by the Agile Teams.

● Feature Definition & Prioritization: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify, define, and decompose large features into smaller, manageable items. Translate the product roadmap into concrete features, complete with business context, acceptance criteria, and benefit hypothesis.

● Backlog Management: Own and prioritize the ART Backlog, managing the flow of features through the Program Kanban to ensure a continuous delivery of value.

● Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, content strategists, content creators, SEO experts, and Web/eShop data analysts to create compelling user experiences, as well as with Product Owners to ensure their Team Backlogs are aligned with the Program vision.

● Market Research & Analysis: Continuously gather and analyze customer feedback, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform product decisions and identify new opportunities for web platform enhancement.

● Feature Validation: Define key metrics for success and work with the Business Owners and Agile Teams to validate features against the initial hypothesis, presenting results during the System Demo.

● Stakeholder Communication: Manage communication with all relevant stakeholders (such as local affiliate marketing team, regional leaders), providing regular updates on product progress, feature delivery, and performance against objectives.

 

Required qualifications

● 3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably managing a high-traffic web platform.

● Working knowledge of SAFe principles and practices. Experience participating in PI Planning and managing a Program Backlog is a significant plus.

● Proven ability to define product strategy, create detailed roadmaps, and write compelling features with clear acceptance criteria.

● Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively articulate product vision to diverse audiences.

● Strong analytical skills with an ability to use data (e.g., Web Analytics, A/B testing tools) to drive product decisions.

● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.

 

Preferred qualifications

● Experience with tools like Jira and ServiceNow for managing SAFe artifacts and web request

tickets.

● Technical understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, APIs) and the software development lifecycle.
