About the Role

The purpose of this position is to lead a team of Business Analysts within the Product Team in our Technology and Change function.

The role holder will report into the Head of Product Management, supporting change initiatives from initiation through to implementation.

The role is a fixed-term contract for 18 months, providing an excellent opportunity to gain significant experience and make a meaningful impact within a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of Business Analysts within the Product Team
• Set standards and templates where needed, for analysis consistency and quality
• Responsible for the completion and quality of Analysis on items both in the Transformation roadmap, regulatory items and new changes
• Co-ordination of Analysis across onshore and offshore teams
• Allocate analysis work to meet the needs of all change initiatives
• Managing Regulatory change initiatives
• Lead team and develop requirement gathering techniques:
  • As Is and To Be process mapping
  • Data Analysis
  • Facilitating Requirements Workshops with SME’s
  • Impact Analysis
• Support team to develop skills to support change initiatives from initiation through to implementation
• Ensure adequate metrics and measures are available to verify success
• Actively engage the user throughout the development process to capture real time user feedback and adjust direction when required
• Actively monitor progress and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies
• Understand, amend, and test internal systems configuration
• Define and support execution of test scenarios
• Triage and prioritise defects
• Operational Readiness
• Support Environments & Release with release planning
• Internal Change communications
• Accountable for the capture and documentation of requirements in a comprehensive manner, translated into meaningful requirements e.g. Epic-Features-User Stories:
  • For Software Development Teams
  • For Third Party Providers
  • For Internal Systems Configuration
• Effectively manage stakeholders with regular and appropriate communications to internal and external parties
• Build subject matter expertise within the team to provide consultancy within the business
• Identify and implement best practice improvements within the Product Team
• Support the embedding and continuous review of the Change Management process within the organisation

Essential:

• Leading analysts to deliver business value in line with company strategy
• Developing standards for analysis
• Coaching/mentoring team members to develop diverse skills and experience
• Recruitment and people management for both permanent and contract staff
• Internal Stakeholder Management
• Third Party/Supplier Management
• Excellent Communication Skills

Desirable:

• Experience working within a Product-Led environment
• Analysis qualifications
• Analysis experience within a Platform provider
• Experience with RAID management and reporting in Azure DevOps
