Job Description

Power & Performance Engineer Location: Bangalore (WFO – 5 days) Experience: 4-6 Years Key Responsibilities: • Perform CPU, memory, storage, and platform-level power characterization on x86 embedded systems. • Execute industry-standard benchmarks and analyze system performance, scalability, and efficiency. • Profile workloads, identify bottlenecks, and optimize overall system performance. • Collect and analyze telemetry, profiling data, and performance counters. • Develop automation frameworks using Python and Shell scripting for benchmarking and reporting. • Collaborate with Silicon, BIOS, Firmware, OS, and Validation teams to debug and resolve performance issues. • Generate detailed performance reports and optimization recommendations. • Support silicon bring-up and post-silicon validation activities across embedded and server class platforms. Mandatory Skills • Hands-on experience with SPDK for NVMe SSD performance characterization. • Strong understanding of IOPS, throughput, latency, and scalability analysis. • Experience with DPDK for packet processing and high-speed Ethernet workloads. • Expertise in analyzing network throughput, latency, and performance bottlenecks. • Strong knowledge of P-States, C-States, Turbo/Boost technologies, and thermal management. • Performance Profiling & Benchmarking • NVMe SSD Performance Analysis • Python & Shell Scripting • Silicon Validation & Debugging • Cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving Internal - General Use
