Job Description

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow HAM Implementation Specialist to lead the greenfield deployment of the Hardware Asset Management module. The role involves designing and implementing HAM processes, integrating with CMDB, and ensuring compliance with asset lifecycle management best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and implement ServiceNow HAM module for end-to-end hardware asset lifecycle management.
  • Define HAM strategy, governance, and operating model aligned with CSDM and CMDB standards.
  • Configure asset classes, models, workflows, and policies for procurement, allocation, maintenance, and disposal.
  • Integrate HAM with CMDB, Discovery, and third-party tools (procurement systems, inventory management, ERP).
  • Implement asset normalization, reconciliation, and data quality controls.
  • Develop dashboards and reports for asset tracking, compliance, and financial insights.
  • Establish process automation for asset requests, approvals, and stock replenishment.
  • Ensure compliance with security and audit requirements for asset data.
  • Conduct training and knowledge transfer for stakeholders and administrators.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow HAM implementation.
  • Expertise in CMDB integration, asset lifecycle management, and CSDM alignment.
  • Familiarity with Discovery and Inventory Management processes.
  • Proficiency in ServiceNow configuration (forms, workflows, business rules, UI policies).
  • Experience with integration using REST/SOAP APIs and third-party asset tools.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist – HAM (preferred).

Nice-to-Have

  • Knowledge of SAM (Software Asset Management) and its integration with HAM.
  • Experience in financial tracking and cost optimization for hardware assets.
  • Exposure to automation using Flow Designer and IntegrationHub.

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent.
  • ServiceNow CSA (Certified System Administrator) – required/preferred.
  • CIS – HAM – preferred.
