Role: Demand Generation Specialist
Location: Bangalore (Sarjapur)
Team: Wipro Technologies GTM & Strategy Team for Americas 2
Purpose of the Role
Be the growth engine for sales efforts in Americas 2 by driving demand generation campaigns and enabling proactive go-to-market initiatives.
͏Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Demand Generation
- Execute demand generation campaigns for the EMR (Energy, Manufacturing & Resources) vertical focused on the North America geography.
- Ensure alignment with the SMU Hunting charter to enable growth and accelerate new business acquisition.
- Work with third-party agencies to generate leads for accounts. Wherever possible, supplement through personal outreach through LinkedIn, email etc.
- Manage inbound inquiries and campaign responses.
2. Market Research & Stakeholder Mapping
- Conduct secondary research on priority accounts to align campaigns with strategic focus areas.
- Identify key decision-makers (executive sponsors, technical/economic buyers, influencers).
- Create stakeholder mapping and communication plans.
- Build and maintain target account databases.
3. Competence Building
- Work across groups to create and update a knowledge base of solutions, offerings, and case studies.
- Share updates with GTM engine and global sales teams.
- Partner with Sales, Presales, Marketing, and GBLs to proactively identify themes, launch campaigns, and track campaign outcomes to create qualified opportunities.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
· Funnel Growth: Increase qualified leads and pipeline opportunities.
· Account Growth: Drive engagement and expansion within priority accounts.
· Conversion of Opportunities to Revenue: Improve conversion rates from qualified opportunities to closed deals.
Must-Have Qualifications
· Minimum: Graduate with interest in technology and 7–8 years of relevant experience.
· Basic research skills: Ability to understand account performance through annual reports, association websites, and third-party tools like Draup, Hoovers, etc.
· Proactive and a continuous learning mindset.
Desirable Skills
· Exposure to cold calling and understanding of the sales cycle.
· Knowledge of technology selling.
· Proactive and aggressive in qualifying new opportunities.
