Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Innovation Center Engagement Lead with strong consulting experience and expertise in strategic customer engagement.  Innovation Center Engagement Lead ensures that the Innovation Center operates not as a facility, but as a high-credibility, revenue-influencing, and brand-defining experience engine, requiring continuous on-site leadership, orchestration, and ownership.

You will collaborate with senior leaders, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and bring a business development mindset to innovation engagements, helping clients achieve sustainable digital transformation through human-centred solutions and strategic deal positioning.

Experience Required: Minimum 10 years in consulting with a strong track record in technology-driven business transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Experience Design & Customer visit execution Leadership

    • Own end-to-end design and leadership of experiential innovation journeys for customers, government delegations, partners, and executives.
    • Curate thematic innovation roadshows aligned to business priorities such as digital transformation, remote operations, and frontier technologies (e.g., Omniverse, quantum, mixed reality).
    • Create compelling storytelling flows that integrate demos, videos, prototypes, and future-industry narratives.
    • Partner with demo owners to customize and personalize experiences, ensuring strong business relevance and executive resonance.
    • Innovation & Market Insights - analyze trends and tailor strategies for Banking, Financial Services, Energy, Utilities, or Manufacturing sectors.

Deep Planning, Dry Runs & Visit-Day Execution Excellence

  • Lead detailed visit planning and runbooks covering agendas, demo sequencing, room readiness, and visitor persona mapping.
  • Conduct on-floor dry runs to validate flow, timing, transitions, and multi-demo coordination, eliminating operational surprises.
  • Act as the on-site execution lead on visit day—managing hospitality, guest movement, executive availability, and real-time issue resolution.
  • Enable senior leadership walkthroughs and presenter readiness; ensure content is aligned to live digital and immersive infrastructure.

Innovation Center Operations & Infrastructure Management

  • Own day-to-day operations of the Innovation Center, ensuring readiness across technology, connectivity, AV, immersive zones, lighting, sensors, and display systems.
  • Ensure all emerging tech zones, PoCs, prototypes, and immersive experiences are production-ready and continuously refreshed.
  • Maintain health of complex, multi-technology environments including AI, robotics, drones, MR/VR, digital twins, and IoT platforms.
  • Oversee service partners and maintenance activities hands-on to ensure zero disruption and quality completion.

On Boarding Demo locally, Content & IP Lifecycle Management

  • Govern demo onboarding, customization, versioning, refresh, and retirement cycles.
  • Lead development of digital content including briefing decks, demo videos, storyboards, and data-driven exhibits.
  • Maintain a regional demo repository with clear governance on access, approvals, and demo fidelity for customer showcases.

In Person Cross-Functional & Ecosystem Orchestration

  • Act as the in-person integrator across Practice Heads, Engineering/CTO teams, Ventures, Sales, Design, Labs, and domain experts.
  • Coordinate closely with leadership and government relations teams for dignitary and strategic visits.
  • Drive collaboration with hyperscalers, startups, academia, and ecosystem partners to keep the innovation narrative fresh and future ready.
  • Define transformation strategies, create target state blueprints, and design roadmaps across infrastructure, platforms, applications, data, and processes.

Visitor Pipeline & Post-Visit Business Impact

  • Establish structured pre-visit and post-visit engagement models to capture objectives, insights, and follow-up actions.
  • Ensure disciplined documentation, demo summaries, and handoff to Sales/BD for pipeline acceleration.
  • Track impact metrics including customer satisfaction, deal influence, demo usage, and innovation themes engaged.
  • Design Thinking Application - Facilitate workshops, map customer journeys, and develop user-centric solutions aligned with client goals.

Governance, Safety & Asset Utilization

  • Define governance for innovation assets, data, and responsible AI guardrails where applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with SOPs, visitor protocols, and equipment safety standards.
  • Drive optimal utilization of labs, immersion rooms, prototype spaces, and demo stations.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience: 10+ years in leading innovation center, center of excellence, consulting, pre-sales, delivering strategic initiatives using design thinking frameworks, with exposure to technology-driven transformation.
  • Design Thinking Expertise: Ability to run workshops and apply user-centred approaches.
  • Technology & Innovation: Familiarity with AI, Cloud, and emerging technologies, and ability to link them to business outcomes.
  • Client-Focused: Proven ability to engage with C-suite leaders.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written skills.
  • Project Leadership: Experience managing large transformation programmes.
