Key Responsibilities

1. CyberArk Implementation & Configuration
    • Design and deploy CyberArk PAM solutions (EPV, CPM, PVWA, PSM, PTA). 
    • Install, configure, and upgrade CyberArk components across environments. 
    • Implement privileged account onboarding and lifecycle management.

2. Administration & Operations
    • Manage Vault, Safes, Policies, and Platforms. 
    • Handle password rotation, reconciliation, and session monitoring. 
    • Perform health checks, system monitoring, patching, and upgrades. 

3. Integration & Automation
    • Integrate CyberArk with: 
        ○ Active Directory / LDAP
        ○ Cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)
        ○ IAM/IGA tools like SailPoint
    • Develop automation using PowerShell, Python, or REST APIs. 

4. Security & Compliance
    • Implement PAM policies such as: 
        ○ Least privilege
        ○ Just-in-time access
        ○ Session monitoring 
    • Ensure compliance with frameworks (ISO 27001, SOX, PCI, etc.)
    • Generate audit reports and support regulatory assessments.

5. Support & Troubleshooting
    • Provide L2/L3 support for CyberArk issues. 
    • Troubleshoot: 
        ○ Password rotation failures
        ○ Connectivity issues
        ○ Integration errors
    • Perform root cause analysis and incident resolution.

6. Documentation & Collaboration
    • Prepare technical documentation, SOPs, and runbooks.
    • Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and application teams. 
    • Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and training.

Required Skills
Core CyberArk Skills
    • Hands-on with CyberArk components: 
        ○ Vault (EPV), PVWA, CPM, PSM, PSMP
    • Strong understanding of Privileged Access Management (PAM). 

Technical Skills
    • Active Directory, LDAP, Windows & Linux systems
    • RDP / SSH protocols
    • Cloud (Azure / AWS preferred)
    • Scripting: PowerShell / Python / Shell

Experience Requirements
    • 7+ years total IT experience
    • 3+ years in CyberArk PAM implementation/support
    • CyberArk certifications (Defender/Sentry) – Preferred
        • Exposure to on-prem + cloud hybrid environments

Additional Skills (Good to Have)
    • SIEM integration (Splunk / ELK)
    • ITSM tools (ServiceNow)
    • DevOps exposure / CI-CD
    • Knowledge of other PAM tools (BeyondTrust, Delinea)

    • Strong communication & stakeholder interaction
    • Problem-solving and analytical thinking
    • Ability to work in fast-paced environments

Areas of responsibility  
Monitoring and Incident Detection Handle escalated alerts, prevent potential intrusions from third party agents and analyse log correlation to ensure alignment with security standards.
Incident Handling and Analysis Triage security incidents, handle escalated incidents, assist in performing root cause analysis and prepare reports that adhere to compliance requirements.

Threat Assessment and Analytics Perform vulnerability scans, identify threat intelligence feeds, and recommend preventive measures to reduce exposure.
Stakeholder Coordination and Audit Assistance Coordinate with internal teams on security issues, maintain risk registers and assist during compliance audits.
